The villa
A charming manor full of history
In the crown of Lake Como, in the heart of the settings cited throughout Italian poetry and prose, Wirnica comes to life. Originally a 16th-century parish, it was later renovated and transformed into a private residence for a noble silk manufacturer.
Wirnica is surrounded by a 4,000-square-meter park with astonishing lake views, offering guests the chance to live as nobles in a retreat with charming suites facing the lush greenery of the garden. Walking over Wirnica’s threshold means entering an exclusive oasis of peace and relaxation.

In between centuries of silk and seventeenth century stables
The villa comprises multiple structures and environments, arranged around the central garden. The residences are converted from the antique rooms of the main villa, while the dépendance and the stables have been transformed into elegant apartments.
Within the two-level private park, you’ll find the pool, originally used as a drying area for silkworms. The restaurant is located in the ancient chapel of the deconsecrated monastery. The park also features dedicated yoga areas, a spa housed in a former aviary cave, and wine cellars repurposed for wine and oil-tasting events.
